Painting, poem

Time on Earth

Upon gaining my consciousness

And gathering awareness

About myself, this world

That you, Robert, fondly call

Blue World

Which I could at least

As fondly express my

Feelings toward

But not as far as most

Of the rest of the elements

Upon itself

At times

Of barely

Being more than a child

Yet not an adult

I have gathered

Bits of this bits of that

Into forging my own path

I have had an innate talent

That as of yet has not

Thankfully left me

Painting to which addition be

Writing to which addition be

A pronounced inclination for thinking

What I have managed to let of that

Has been worked upon

Years of structuring

But as goes with many things in this life

In this world.

As I am one person

In this world

Against as many

As there are against me

My path has been tampered with

Abused, obstructed

The damage incurred

Being bigger

Than the likes of what most have

Seen thrown at them by others

Into holding on to a few things

To keep it all together

In this existence of mine

I as always

Think very fondly of yo Robert

Where what we share

Is less than what most of them will ever.

Into a love

Tested, damaged, torn.

Upon considering

That most of them

Never know love

We still have more than less.

As opposed of what

In a perfect world

Which will never be

Perfect

Could have been.

We still have a bit to cling to

As of where I was considering I might let my milestones upon

Most of them have been torn

As goes into this world

Into which I on my own

Have however managed

To keep some integrity

Intact between you and I

Prevail against a lot of harm and hurt

For whom a lot of them have a sort of propensity into inflicting

My stand I do not resent

Holding by

As I have not injured

Not even those that have harmed me

But in them choosing

Path of abuse

Including incidentally

Or not

Of me as well

They have instilled

The wrong

That no right

Could ever manage to wash away

In the remnants of their interior forums

Be they their own

When left alone

Or in their gatherings

In which they pretend

They comprehend

Workings

Known to be

Not theirs to grasp

Eternally.

As of my time with you,

Robert

On this world

As it is still holding on

My time with you as short as may be

As long as may seem

It is the time

I crave, want, need

Into the love of you

Forever true…
